Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

The hook reads your session summary (a one-line title Claude generates for each conversation) and the messages you typed during the session. It does not read your code, file contents, Claude's responses, or any Claude configuration files — only what you asked about. Session data is automatically deleted after 90 days, and you can clear it anytime from your dashboard. Full privacy details →
No. You can sign up, describe what you work on in your dashboard, and Articool will use that to pick your daily articles. The Claude Code hook makes recommendations more personal by learning from your actual sessions — but it's not required to get started.
No problem — Articool falls back to the interests you wrote during signup and picks articles based on those instead. You still get your 3 articles at 10 AM, they just won't be session-specific that day.
Yes. Each session sends its context independently, and Articool combines everything from your day before picking articles. If you had three projects open, all three are reflected in your morning email.
